truck5.jpgSince the heating and /or cooling ventilation system is often the biggest culprit in poor indoor air quality, inspecting the ductwork is very important.  In most cases, this system has been operating for some time without much attention. 

Harmful indoor air quality can be caused by dirty ducts resulting from years of accumulated dirt, debris and allergens like pollen and pet dander. Dirty ducts can also result form contaminants from mold, infestation from vermin and irritated dust circulated throughout your home or building.
 
Carbone Cleaning & Restoration uses the patented truck mounted equipment named the Rotobrush® which automatically adapts to the duct shape while traveling through the duct, removing debris and filth as it vacuums. The exhausted air from the vacuum is filtered and retains 99.97% of the contaminants, so it can't reenter your home or building.

The Rotobrush® is designed and patented specifically for air duct cleaning, the Rotobrush® is the only method that power-brushes and vacuums at the same time. With the rotating drive cable contained within the vacuum hose, the Rotobrush® is snaked through the air duct all the way to the plenum (end of duct). The reversible feature allows us to change brush rotation from clockwise

to counterclockwise, allowing for cleaning of rectangular air ducts. Right angle turns are routine,

 

allowing for brush-vacuuming of every contacted surface, including wrinkles and crevices typical of flex duct.

The Brush System of the Rotobrush® rotates at 450 rpm to loosen the debris from the inside walls of the air ducts. As it loosens the debris it vacuums  through a nozzle located behind the head of the brush. This combination assures professionally cleaned air ducts. The rotating cable in enclosed within the hose, it is safe to use it in every type of duct cleaning application.
