Designer Series Hinged Egress Window Well Cover

The Designer Series Hinged Egress Window Well Cover is designed to fit the Designer Series Window Wells.

These Egress Well Covers are a heavy duty thermal cover that is sloped at a 5 degree angle to allow snow melt and rain to run off. It fastens to the foundation wall and hinges open like a child's toy box for easy egress.

Designer Egress Well Covers come in two widths to fit the 54" and 66" Designer Series Egress Wells.

These Egress WindowWell Covers are made of white powder coated aluminum frame that is covered with a semi-clear 1/4" thick polycarbonate plastic to allow plenty of light through while keeping people from looking in.

The polycarbonate plastic Cover is UV-stabilized to minimize spider webbing and discoloration.

These Egress Covers support 44 lbs per square foot, meeting most building codes. It can handle a heavy snow load, but must be cleared after each snow to assure ease of use.

It comes with two brackets to prop the Well Cover open for ventilation, without exposing the whole well, helping to prevent accidents.
